Qualification for surgery
Choice of the performed surgical procedure – type of surgery – is made by a surgeon, following a conversation with the Patient.
Each Patient is qualified for a surgery by an anaesthesiologist, who having examined the Patient and read the Patient’s test results – results of laboratory tests and Anaesthesia Survey, which is filled in before each surgical operation, as well as opinions of other consultants, gives his or her consent to have the Patient anaesthetized and chooses the kind of anaesthesia.
Each Patient must give his or her written consent for both procedures (anaesthesia and surgical operation) by signing the Informed Consent to a Surgical Operation and Approval for Execution of Anaesthesia
